TIMBER SPEC LOgO DESIGN FOR FOREST INDUSTRIES IRELAND

Timber Spec is a CPD platform developed by Forest Industries Ireland to promote the use of sustainable timber in construction. The client needed a logo that could communicate nature, Irish identity and renewable energy in a clear, modern way.

I developed a simple, flexible mark that combines these elements into a single visual system. A tree motif represents forestry and growth, while geometric structure and colour bring a more contemporary, forward-looking feel that aligns with the platform’s role in education and industry engagement.

The identity was designed to work consistently across digital applications, where clarity and legibility are critical for professional audiences. Beyond the logo, I created supporting promotional assets including social media graphics and video, ensuring the identity translated effectively across digital channels.

The result is a clean and recognisable brand that supports the platform’s mission to promote sustainable building practices and engage a professional audience.
